Corn chaneque. Is grain white notched-crystalline, of semicylindrical shape. The ears are medium-sized with 10 to 12 rows (semirectilínea). It is cultivated in different communities Coyúca Benítez, Atoyac de Álvarez, and Acapulco de Juárez, between altitudes ranging from 300 to 900 meters above sea level. Its vegetative cycle is intermediate and their flowering period is between 60 and 62 days. Has the intervention of the race Olotillo. Due to their features like Olotillo, different farming families continue to sow them because they like their softness for shelling and well accepted in local markets for the preparation of tortillas.
