Tlacotepec Plumas every time you have more problems due to lack of water for the crop. For this, a central part of this project is the construction of two systems of water harvesting. Were determined, with the participation of the community, the sites of conditioning of pots of water storage and currently has just finished the work first. The community did the cleaning of the pot and pulled out manually the species that were inside of this and that are of use vegetable with a hoe (Maguey). Subsequently leveled off and he refined the slope of the pot with the help of the backhoe. Also made the intake channel of water to the pot and placed the hose to the water outlet and, in addition, were removed manually stones greater than a diameter of 3cm pointed that may damage or puncture the geomembrane.
To filter the water became a box gate as the first filter for sediment content in the water and a sandbox artificial for the retention of solutes in the water content for the maintenance of the cleanliness of the geomembrane and prolong periods of cleaning waste.
Is performed manually by a ditch of 30 x 30 x 30 cm prior to the installation of the geomembrane with the group's collective work.
